Previously, we were able to provide critiques for about 90% if all pieces, regardless if they were accepted, accepted with revisions, or rejected (see the question "How do you review submissions?"). However, due to the much higher volume of submissions we now receive, we cannot continue burying ourselves in writing critiques and not doing our course work!
Only pieces reviewed as "accept with revisions" will receive critiques in order to aid authors in revising their submission.
Sometimes, a rejected piece will also receive a critique.
Only rarely will an accepted piece receive a critique.
