Because we review submissions on a rolling basis and not necessarily in the order in which we receive them, some people may wait longer than others to learn the status of their submissions, unfortunately. Most people will hear from us by the end of Winter Quarter, and many will hear from us in Autumn Quarter. A small percentage of people will not learn the status of their submissions until close to the time of the magazine's publication in Spring Quarter; this means that we enjoyed the piece but are not yet sure whether space constraints will allow us to publish it. We appreciate your patience and encourage you to submit more work in the meantime, if the anticipation is killing you!
